NBC Sports Next and USA Swimming Host Family Swim and Wellness Fairs
The world of competitive swimming has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, thanks to the collective efforts of organizations dedicated to promoting the sport. USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport in the United States, has been a key player in advancing swimming's popularity and success. TeamUnify, a product within the SportsEngine family, has also been dedicated to the sport of swimming for over 2 decades, providing software solutions to swimming organizations across the US and UK.
This past summer, USA Swimming teamed up with Speedo and the Black Employee Network Group at NBC Sports Next and SportsEngine to create a first of it’s kind event that spanned multiple cities, time zones, and landscapes. The Family Swim and Wellness Fair gave young swimmers the opportunity to meet and learn from Olympic Swimmer, Cullen Jones.
SportsEngine and TeamUnify, both well-known in the world of sports management software, have joined forces to support USA Swimming in their mission to expand and enhance the sport of swimming. Their commitment to growing the sport goes far beyond just creating software solutions. It involves a dedication to fostering the sport at all levels, from grassroots swimming programs to elite competitive swimming.
One of the core goals of USA Swimming is to encourage young athletes to take up swimming and pursue it as a lifelong sport. SportsEngine and TeamUnify support this goal by helping teams and clubs at the grassroots level manage their programs efficiently. This means more opportunities for young swimmers to get involved in the sport and develop a love for swimming from an early age.
